I'm a Security+ certified computer science student focused on cybersecurity and infrastructure, seeking a summer cybersecurity internship. I support campus networking, build hands-on labs, compete in CTF challenges, and mentor students through the TAMUCC Cisco Academy.
I spend my time building a hands-on home lab — virtualization on Proxmox, DNS filtering with Pi-hole, and a WireGuard VPN — while competing in capture-the-flag challenges and helping fellow students find their footing in security and networking.

Our four-person team, The Absentees, worked with a University Seminar client to streamline class scheduling. The design used CSV instructor and classroom data, time-slot assignments, an interactive menu, and a planned spreadsheet export.
This excerpt loops through professors and available room slots. It assigns up to each professor’s required class count, records the room, capacity, day, and time, and marks each slot as taken so it cannot be reused. The counter resets for the next professor.

void assignRooms(professor profArray[], room roomArray[], int profSize,
int allRooms, assignedRoom assignments[], const int roomArraySize) {
int counter = 0;
int index = 0;
for (int i = 0; i < profSize; i++) { // Loop through each professor
for (int j = 0; j < allRooms; j++) { // Loop through each room
if (counter < profArray[i].numClasses) {
if (!roomArray[j].taken) {
assignments[index].professor = profArray[i].name;
assignments[index].time = roomArray[j].time;
assignments[index].day = roomArray[j].day;
assignments[index].name = roomArray[j].name;
assignments[index].capacity = roomArray[j].capacity;
roomArray[j].taken = true;
counter++;
index++;
}
}
}
counter = 0;
}
}This excerpt shows room-slot allocation; it does not show every check used by the complete scheduler.
